Two and a half years. An incredible amount of time and water passed before I got to the start of the big race again. It took two personal challenges, which were the Kungsleden 450 and the Negev 300, before I once again immersed myself in the electrifying atmosphere of the big race.

It’s been two long years, full of Covid darkness. Since my last trip to the Swedish King’s Trail, I’ve been in a winter hibernation, at least in terms of long-term projects. After years of originally planning to traverse Iceland, I finally decided to head back to the full-fledged desert, the Israeli Negev.
K6 Ultramarathon – 48 hodin v Konstantinových lázních
Osmačtyřicítka byla vždy na mém seznamu závodů, které bych chtěl absolvovat. Když tak nad tím přemýšlím, tak jsem kromě 24h na páse vlastně plnohodnotnou 24 nebo 48h neabsolvoval. Tento dluh jsem splatil v Konstantinových lázních.
B7 – opět po roce
B7 – po roce a opět za zvláštních podmínek. Loni jsem to zkoušel po 450 km na Královské stezce ve Švédsku, letos za méně příjemných okolností – jako první (a asi poslední) letošní závod a bez kvalitního tréninku – nicméně s předsevzetím dokončit a nezklamat můj support.

Uběhlo už téměř 9 měsíců od konce této epické akce. Video materiál, který jsem natočil, zůstával celou dobu v šuplíku s plány udělat z nich něco zásadnějšího, ale bohužel tento záměr padl a tak je zde video klasického “střihu” a formátu. Ultrabalaton 2020 – když i DNF k něčemu je
Jak některým neuniklo, po delším čase jsem se přesunul z trailu na silnici a na začátku října se vydal do Maďarska a kolečko okolo Balatonu. Toto není klasický report, ale krátké shrnutí, proč z tohoto závodu bylo po letech DNF.
